BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Mr. Been is having quite summer time.
The longtime Bed-Stuy resident began the summer season celebrating their 100th birthday celebration on Juneteenth, enclosed by friends and family through the block he is called house for 92 years.
Seven days later, James Been, a global War II veteran, discovered a fraudulent loan that had placed that their house in property foreclosure was indeed forgiven.
