Wow 2017 has been a very good year so far!
After it’s first full year in action since September 2016, Yateley VoxChoir has been a huge success with it’s locals, leaded by the talented Marcia Slack! Yate~Voxies have now performed in two VoxSkool shows and also with the Military Wives in Arborfield Reading, helping to raise funds for the Manchester bombings and all by just singing their hearts out for the love of it – well done Yate~Voxies! A social committee is soon to be formed for even more fun and events between regular singing sessions and teaming up with Fleet Voxies…..aaahhhh now that’s lovely 🙂
Now in the coming few months VoxChoirs will be reaching out to new communities to jump aboard this fantastic source of inspiration for all lovers of music & socializing and being a part of something wonderful – get in touch if you’d love to lead one of our community singing groups in your spare time or as an addition to your life. Meet fab people, have fun and become part of the Voxy family, plus you get paid too – woop! * Must be over 18 years of age and DBS checked.
We all took part in the very exciting 7th VoxSkool Show on October 1st this year, with just so much talent and energy oozing from each performer whether soloist or part of a VoxChoir and then the people who made everything run like clock-work behind the scenes, from the tech team through to the raffle and tea/cake offerings – this just shows how when communities come together through the medium of music and for a good cause, what brilliant stuff can take place.
This year VoxSkool raised £665.00 which will go to a brand new project in 2018 for Yateley Community people in need – watch this space for updates soon!
